Employers always look for a good employee who would invest his full potential to achieve the organizational objectives. Basically, a good employee is considerate with having adequate abilities for performing the tasks for which an employee is being hired by the organization.

An employee is considered as a good employee if he inherits a basic set of qualities that every employer wishes for. Some qualities are already present in an employee whereas some qualities can be developed by proving them sufficient training.

    Employees taking initiative to carry on their good work with little to no fortitude is one of the amazing qualities to be found in good personnel. Sheer determination and interest in the organization’s tasks are enough to manage employees.

  • Communication Skills:

    Ideal personnel apprehends the necessity of having good communication skills as things may go wrong when a message is vague or misunderstood which may lead to distortion or non-completion of tasks. Therefore, good oral and written communication skills should be possessed by an employee.

    Employees who easily collaborate with the other employees, showcase their quality of being team-oriented succeed altogether in the achievement of goals of the organization. Furthermore, the abilities of an employee are demonstrated on the basis of previous employment records or educational experience or pre-employment tests.     An employee is expected to possess physical abilities matching with the job for which he has been recruited.   • Mental Ability:

    The Employer looks forward to an employee who is not emotionally intelligent but also has great mental abilities. The mental ability of an employee can be judged on the basis of his decisive ability, following the given directions, analyzing the statistical data, making notes, etc.

  • Technical Ability:

    The technical abilities of an applicant are tested for performing technical tasks. These abilities may be possessed by providing course-related training or may be inherited by an employee through their job experiences at the previous companies.
